ABOUT THE WORK

The Journey

Women of Mycelia was born from the personal and professional journey of its founder, Tara Pearce, as a space to redefine how women are supported and honoured on paths of remembering, healing, and inner exploration.

For over a decade, Tara has worked closely with women through creative practice, drawing from a background in creative direction, supporting them to trust their voice, their intuition, and their own way of expressing themselves in the world.

Over time, her own path led her through creative burnout, opening a period of seeking through practices such as meditation, reiki, mindfulness, and sound and frequency work. This marked a natural turning inward, toward the inner landscape and a deeper knowing, where her connection with psilocybin began to emerge as part of that exploration.

From this, her path naturally deepened into counselling, mindfulness, and psychedelic-assisted therapies, with a focus on preparation and integration. Her work is shaped through lived experience, supported by ongoing study, and grounded in a thoughtful and considered approach.

With deep respect for each person’s own process, and for psilocybin as an ancient teacher, Tara supports women through preparation and integration, with presence and intention. She walks alongside them not as an authority, but as someone who has moved through these inner landscapes herself, holding space for a return to their own inner compass.

Tara works alongside those who feel called to this work, supporting preparation and integration with intention and a focus on harm reduction. Space is held for each to move at their own pace, staying connected to themselves as what arises begins to settle and integrate into their way of being.
